Welcome to year 5. In our class there are 26 children, 9 girls and 17 boys. Our teacher is Miss Lee, and our super teaching assistants are Mr Beaton and Miss Michael who have only joined St Andrews’ this year. Miss Lee was lucky enough to teach us in year 3 as well, so this is our second year together.

In our class we speak many different languages including Cantonese, Turkish and Greek. We also have lessons every Monday to help us learn French.

Lots of exciting things are happening this year in Year 5, such as our Sound Start Band project, which means we are all going to learn an instrument by the end of the year.

Our topics this term are the Victorians in History and Earth, Sun and Moon in science. Miss Lee is busy trying to organise some visits for us to enjoy!
