Year Three
Our Year 3 class is taught by Miss Baker and Mrs Darvill. This is our first year as junior student’s at St Andrew’s and there have been lot’s of changes, including where we play at lunch and where our classroom is located within the school.
We are learning about the Romans at the moment in Topic, as well as light and shadows in Science.
Highlights of our week include Physical Education and Art. We have been learning football skills recently in P.E and have made 3D bowls in art. Once a week we learn French, for most of us this is our third language! Our class is also very musical and we really enjoy singing ‘Animal Magic’ with Miss Baker.
We have a lovely classroom and would love for you to have a look. If you ever visit Year 3 be sure to greet us with a friendly ‘Bonjour!’

A display of our Roman Mosaics. These mosaics present our first initial work on this topic.

This is our Class Welcome Wall. All of our photos and names are displayed on here.

Here you can see our floor space where we sit and learn Numeracy and Literacy using our Interactive Whiteboard.

This is our reading corner. We have many fiction and non - fiction books to choose from.

Our targets are displayed in the classroom so that we always know what we need to try and achieve.
