Year Groups Year Two
In Year Two our teacher is called Miss Martin and our teaching assistant is called Miss Leather. We are the largest class in the school, as we have 32 pupils in our class. The children in Year 2 have families that come from many places around the world. Some of us speak different languages at home such as Albanian, Turkish, Bengali and Chinese. We are also lucky enough to be learning French at school each week. So far this year we have been learning all about Martin Luther King and why he is so important. Also our Science topic is called Variation. We have been looking at how animals and plants are the same or different. We hope to take a ‘wildlife walk’ around our local area to look at some of the plants and animals and see how they are similar and different. Next half term, we will be having our ‘Bring a parent to school’ event and we can’t wait. We will invite our parents in for the morning to come and help us make Christmas decorations.
