Year One
Welcome Year One!
In Year One there are 29 children. Our teacher is Miss Craven. We also have the fabulous Mrs Darvill to help us in our classroom.
 
In our classroom, teachers and students alike come from different places around the world. We like to bring all of our experiences together to make a positive learning environment for everyone. In our classroom we speak many languages including Kurdish, Spanish, Chinese, Turkish and Thai.
We love to have fun in our learning, and we are really good at working hard! We are learning about lots of exciting things this year, at the moment we are learning about the Olympics. We are also working really hard on our reading, writing and numeracy.
We are really excited to be going to see the Proms for primary school children in November. This makes us very happy as we really like music. Our teachers are busy organising other trips for us to extend our learning.
