SEAL

As a school who wishes to promote a balanced curriculum, we believe that it necessary for there to be structured involvement to support children’s emotional health and well being. This is supported through our SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning) curriculum.

Ultimately, we believe that this will enable children to achieve greater educational and work success. There will also be greater social cohesion and increased inclusion for otherwise excluded children.

Healthy School

At St Andrew’s we are very proud of our Healthy School Status. As a healthy school, we continually encourage children to be active and to eat a healthy balanced diet. We promote healthy packed lunches and school dinners. Our Breakfast club menu is also carefully selected.

Healthy School

A Health Week celebration is held annually in the Summer Term. Children are given opportunities to try new sports activities and cook delicious foods. Parents and Carers are also invited along to join in the fun!
