Community Links

St Andrew’s enjoys a close relationship with the local community and is linked to the surrounding Barnsbury Ministry of Churches. These include St Andrew’s, All Saints and Church on the Corner. The clergy from these churches and the local community projects of Prospex Youth Team and Paget, visit the school weekly to lead assembly for the children.

At St Andrew’s, we welcome many community volunteers weekly in our school to support the children in their classes. We have been lucky enough to have a successful partnership with a city law firm- Denton Wilde Sapte for a number of years. Employees from the firm come in weekly to read with individual children and each year our school choir sings at the firms carol service at Temple Church.

The school also has volunteers from the University of New York and the Shine Project.
